ESL Teacher Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality, data driven, research-based, student centered instruction designed to meet the needs of a highly diverse group of adult non-native English speakers.

  • Provide content rich English language instruction embedded with the academic, career and life skills necessary for employment, education and community participation.

  • Maintain accurate and timely student records.

  • Participate in meetings and professional development.

  • Collaborate in program development and improvement.

  • Implement and uphold all program and district policies.

Credential Required: Single Subject or Designated Subjects Adult Ed Credential

This is an hourly, part time position that may include morning and/or evening hours.
